Jeff is also a co-founder of Occipital, which built the well-known Structure Sensor — a 3D scanning accessory for iPad, RedLaser (which was acquired by eBay), and Canvas — an application for interior 3D mapping for home improvement.
He’s been an angel investor since 2010 in areas adjacent to mobile computer vision. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, both from the University of Michigan. Before becoming an entrepreneur, he worked at the National Security Agency (NSA), but sadly, can’t tell us whether UFOs are aliens or not.
